2007 Roxy’s Paddock Shiraz This distinctive wine gives licorice, plum and dark chocolate flavours on the palate, with hints of raspberry and mulberry. Maturation in French and American oak for 18 months has developed the lovely nutty toast and spicy vanilla aromas. A wine to enjoy now, however further cellaring for up to 10 years will reward patience. 14.7% alcohol.
2007 The Archer Shiraz LIMITED EDITION. Matured in French oak for an additional six months to create a wonderful peppery full cherry flavour with a tremendous velvety nose. Very enjoyable now but will be even more exceptional in 5 to 10 years. 14.7% alcohol.
2008 Roxy’s Paddock Shiraz An interesting year for full flavoured fruity shiraz and this wine is no exception. Smooth, luscious texture on the mouth and classic example of the Heathcote regional flavour. 14.5% alcohol.
2009 Roxy’s Paddock Shiraz A very drinkable wine with full flavour of cherry and blackberry and a hint of licorice. A touch spicy with a smooth finish. Nice full mouth experience and terrific with steak, pasta and even seafood. Tasting will delight. 14.5% alcohol.
2009 Little Vineyard Sparkling Shiraz NEW RELEASE. What a rewarding experience! A refreshing, zesty, delicious wine with deep rich burgundy colour and topped with delightful pink frothy bubbles. The promise of a mouthful of flavour with the taste buds uplifted. Lovely as an aperitif for lunch or dinner. Not too heavy, but full flavoured, rich and delicious. The fruit has been Estate grown on a small parcel of land only 60 metres from Lake Eppalock in the Heathcote region, and only 400 bottles are made. The wine base is sent to Romsey for the sparkling traditional method process. 12.9% alcohol.
2009 Lakeside Marsanne Crafted from a small parcel of low yielding, hand-picked fruit from the Heathcote region, this approachable wine is a refreshing example of cool climate Marsanne. Aromas of tropical pineapple and passionfruit with a hint of kiwifruit are a highlight on the nose, and the subtle use of oak adds a dimension to the palate which enhances the dry, lingering apricot finish. The wine is drinking well now, especially with food - chicken, Asian influenced dishes and seafood in particular, and it will develop classic Marsanne characters with age. A great wine for the cellar. 13.5% alcohol.
